Well, everything has been approved and set to go. Sometime this week the old house will be demolished and cleared ready for the builders to lay the slap, sort out the drainage etc and start framing the house. It is alleged that the roof may be on before the christmas shut down period, but I highly think that unlikely. It amazes me how long it takes to build a house here in Oz, not that I am complaining, but, in the UK, they can build a house in a matter of weeks. A complete housing estate could be built in the time it takes them to build one house here in Oz.
Hopefully I may have some fotos of the cleared ground..hopefully. As soon as I get to see the land being cleared, I will post some pictures.
