The past few weeks at work have been shocking. So far we have made 3 people redundant. One in Qld and 2 in NSW. 2 Weeks ago Carol from the QLD office was told to go home and not come back, not in those words I might add. Thursday last week Donna and someone I will refrain from mentioning were given the same bad news.
We knew we had a little restructuring taken place, but not quite what we had in mind. Donna had been with RFD for over 5 years and had a great wealth of knowledge on the System and procedures. The other Muppet came from god knows where and hopefully has gone back under the rock it originated from. I am not one for being a bitch, but. I am quite happy to go out on a limb and become one. I have never known anyone like it. An attitude which only a self centred and conceited person can posses.
Being made redundant is never a good thing, I certainly never wish to go through that again. Even though I was never really keen on the aforementioned person, it is always a bad vibe that such an act creates and one I really wouldn’t wish on anyone, Friend or Foe.
